My Story
I’m a bilingual educator with a Master’s degree in Science of Education, specializing in Bilingual Special Education, and I’ve been supporting students and families since 2019. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners across all grade levels, from Pre-K through high school, helping them build strong language skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging in bilingual and multicultural learning environments.
Aprende con Peguero was created as a reflection of both my professional expertise and my personal journey. Born in New York City, proudly Dominican, and educated in Pennsylvania, I understand firsthand the experiences many bilingual families navigate at home and in school. This platform exists to support families from all backgrounds, with a special understanding of those raising children in more than one language.
Through Aprende con Peguero, I offer approachable, culturally responsive learning tools that make Spanish and English feel accessible and achievable. My work blends education, advocacy, and community connection—creating a safe, supportive space where children can grow academically and families feel empowered every step of the way.
